Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak visited flood-hit Penang and urged the state government to monitor hillslope developments.

He also lauded a local surau for opening its doors to non-Muslims seeking refuge from the flood.

MP dismisses video alleging affair

Langkawi MP Nawawi Ahmad dismissed videos showing that MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad was involved in an affair with a woman, claiming that they may have been edited.

MACC summoned Parti Warisan Sabah vice-president Peter Anthony to Putrajaya for questioning in relation to the alleged misappropriation of development funds in Sabah.

Petaling Jaya MP Tony Pua said MACC needed to "grow a spine" and investigate the 1MDB scandal.

Electoral reform group Bersih claimed more army voters have been registered at army camps that are still under construction, in Bera, Pahang, and Hutan Melintang, Perak.

Johor DAP filed 1,051 objections against army voters registered at the yet-to-be-completed Segamat army camp in Johor.
