KINI ROUNDUP | Here are the key headlines you may have missed yesterday, in brief.

Nothing to Hide 3.0?

Pakatan Harapan chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad again challenged Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to a public debate - dubbed the "Nothing to Hide 3" - following the latter's lengthy broadside on Oct 30.

In a blog post yesterday, Mahathir also provided a point-by-point rebuttal to issues raised by Najib about the former prime minister in his speech to United Nations Association Malaysia.

Mahathir, while commenting on former finance minister II Husni Hanadzlah's recent speech in Parliament about a "zero corruption" legacy said Najib should resign immediately to make this possible.

The former prime minister also believed that many of his opponents want to see him arrested following his controversial "Bugis remark".

Meanwhile, a group of army veterans said they will "protect" Mahathir after the government decided to withdraw the latter's official bodyguards.

AG won't comment Clare's claim

Attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali declined to comment on claims by Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown that she had received the draft of an alleged charge sheet against Najib from deputy public prosecutor Kevin Morais prior to his murder.

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang's court filings in the UK against Rewcastle-Brown stated that the latter did not verify certain allegations in the writings on PAS and did not contact him or anyone else in PAS prior to publication.

Several women's rights activists lodged reports against blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin over sexist and racist remarks in an article aimed at Rewcastle-Brown and Ambiga Sreenevasan.

A report claims that Singaporean authorities are probing Goldman Sachs Group's relationship with 1MDB.
