A police report has been lodged on the deadly landslide in Tanjung Bungah, Penang, so that investigations into possible “professional negligence” by the developer can commence as soon as possible.

The move is in line with Section 304 (A) and (B) of the Penal Code, state executive councillor Chow Kon Yeow announced today.

Chow said the state government instructed the Penang Island City Council to lodge the report and urged all state agencies to cooperate with the police to complete the investigation soon.
