Probe into Malaysia's Uber investment

Uber is reportedly conducting an internal probe into whether its corporate donations to the Malaysian Global Initiative and Creativity Centre (MaGIC) had anything to do with the Retirement Fund Incorporated's (KWAP) investments in Uber.

MCA accepts DBKL's call on beer festival

MCA president Liow Tiong Lai said he accepted the Kuala Lumpur City Hall's (DBKL) decision not to allow the Better Beer Festival 2017 to proceed after learning that it was due to security reasons.

MCA central committee member Jason Teoh blamed DAP for "empowering" PAS, which had first complained about the beer festival, for the event's cancellation.
