Twelve of the 23 victims who perished in the fire at Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah school laid to rest at the Raudhatul Sakinah cemetery in Kuala Lumpur.

Funeral prayers for all the victims were held at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital Mosque.

The Thursday morning fire at the tahfiz school claimed the lives of 21 students and two teachers.
