<p>Petrol prices remained the same this week while the price of diesel goes down for a second consecutive week.</p>

<p>Effective midnight, diesel will go down three sen to RM2.01 per litre.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, RON95 and RON97 prices are maintained at RM2.15 and RM2.43 per litre respectively.</p>

<p>This comes after petrol prices went up consecutively for the past four weeks.</p>

<p>New fuel prices are announced every Wednesday, with this pricing mechanism being introduced in April this year.</p>

<p>Weekly fuel prices are determined based on the average Means of Platts Singapore (Mops) price, as well as the average ringgit strength against the US dollar in the previous week.</p>
