No MACC reforms, eight years after TBH's death

A public forum on reforming the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will be held on July 16, marking the eighth anniversary of the death of Teoh Beng Hock, who was found dead after allegedly plunging from the Selangor MACC headquarters.

The forum organisers, the Teoh Beng Hock Trust for Democracy, said the speakers would discuss measures to strengthen the MACC's capacity in tackling corruption and to protect the rights of detainees.
