The Johor government has no plans to do a reshuffle of its state executive council line up or appoint a new state executive councillor following the resignation of Abd Latif Bandi as Housing and LocaL Government Committee chairperson.

Menteri Besar Mohamed Khaled Nordin said Mahkota assemblyperson Md Jais Sarday would continue to hold the portfolio as was announced when the exco line-up was last reshuffled in March.

“The existing line-up will remain until the general election,” he told reportesr after opening the Muafakat Johor Fair Price Supermaket chain's Taman Bukit Dahlia branch in Pasir Gudang near Johor Baru today.

Latif, who is facing corruption charges handed in his resignation letter yesterday. He had gone on leave in March when the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission commenced a probe on him pertaining to land and housing matters.
