'RM1.2m Disneyland bought with loans from Ah Long, grandmother'

A PKR Youth leader has claimed that he purchased a bungalow worth RM1.2 million with loans obtained from two “Ah Long” (loan sharks), his mother-in-law and grandmother, who has since passed on.

According to one of the charge sheets, Adam Rosly Abdullah told the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Feb 10 that he acquired the Disneyland-like bungalow in cash last year because he could not obtain a bank loan.

Of that amount, Adam told MACC he had borrowed RM400,000 from a loan shark identified as Leo, and RM100,000 from another loan shark identified as Ben...
