Prominent historian Khoo Kay Khim has blamed the country’s education system in relation to polemics surrounding the tabling of amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act or Act 355.

The education system, he said, has not been able to equip the young to be knowledgeable citizens.
