The Putrajaya magistrate's court has extended the remand for a 54-year-old businessman who is accused of attempting to bribe Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar in exchange for an honorific title.

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had applied for a remand extension to facilitate its investigation.
