Yes, Nik Abduh, things have changed, PAS no longer humble

YOURSAY | ‘Of course, PAS will take over Selangor - with the help of BN.’

PAS: We let PKR lead Selangor in GE13, but things change

Anonymous 444981488553970: Well, PAS Youth chief Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz was trounced at his party election in his late father's seat (Pengkalan Chepa), yet he remains arrogant and still talks big.

Selangorians are well-informed and we have given PAS our support in the last two general elections because their motto was ‘PAS for All’ and they were part of Pakatan Rakyat. Now, since they chose to be out of Pakatan, so we shall vote Amanah instead.

PAS, bring it on in Selangor. Let's see who bites the dust.

Bert: Of course, PAS will take over Selangor - with the help of BN. This is obvious or else party president Abdul Hadi Awang would not have targeted five states.

So Selangor MB Azmin Ali, you know what you are in for.

Mushiro: Nik Abduh is hallucinating. It was DAP which agreed to PKR leading the Selangor government after the last general election.

There was no way PAS would have helmed Selangor. So Nik Abduh should stop dreaming, especially after his recent defeat in the party polls.

Clever Voter: We may laugh at Nik Abduh’s stupidity. He obviously has a reason for thinking and saying so (about PAS taking over Selangor).

Blame it on Hadi who has misled the entire party.

Demi Rakyat: PAS is not delusional. It makes these audacious statements based on working hand-in-hand with Umno, which is using money and more money to achieve its selfish agenda.

Gone is its integrity, being humble and genuinely caring for the rakyat. PAS now speaks like a greedy politician.

Drifter: Indeed, the only thing that has changed is PAS - it has stopped fighting Umno and betrayed its partners.

I contested for fun, Nik Abduh claims after crushing defeat

Odin Tajué: Nik Abduh, it seems that your party is a joke, an unfunny one. You all are a joke, because while all else are moving forward, you are heading back to the sixth century.

People offer themselves for election in the hope to be elected to office and serve the bodies they represent or their countries. But you stood for election for fun.

Of course, your claim also shows your insincerity, in that had you been elected, you would have accepted the office and not turned it down on account that you were only going through the process for fun.

But never mind all that. It is sufficient to know that even your own party members do not want you. Maybe you might want to consider becoming a stand-up comic?

Anonymous 444981488553970: Such arrogance from this young man as compared to his father's humility. It’s sad that he could not emulate his late father.

Well, pride goes before destruction, but humility goes before honour. So, it's not honour that's following him.

Anonymous_1421806811: I am not sure how to describe a normal human being who is "happier" losing than winning - an idiot, perhaps?

Whatever it is, it shows the quality of PAS leadership who contests for "fun" and does nothing to improve the lives of the people they govern and yet confident of winning five states.

Nik Abduh should read his loss in the Pengkalan Chepa PAS division election - the people are asking, "What have you been doing all this while, when prices of goods are increasing, when corruption is the name of the game and giving excuses to losing money in big corporations have become an art."

Dont Just Talk: Be brave to accept the fact that you were popular when your late father, Tok Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat, was around but now PAS members know how much you are worth.

There is nothing much in your brain by the way. What happen to your bag of tricks, like when you boasted during the previous two by-elections where PAS was soundly defeated?

Be very careful during the 14th GE, PAS might even lose Kelantan instead of winning five states.

Mahsuri: Well, we shouldn't deny everyone the right to laugh at you then when you're trounced, since you're having so much fun.

I hope the "fun" continues for PAS in GE14... then all of us will have the opportunity to laugh even more at PAS' expense. So fun, right?

Spinnot: "In an old fable by Aesop, a hungry fox noticed a bunch of juicy grapes hanging from a vine.

“After several failed attempts to reach the grapes, the fox gave up and insisted that he didn't want them anyway because they were probably sour."

PAS slams door on negotiations with Bersatu, says party VP

Hang Babeuf: PAS is now an opposition party in name only. It is in fact a "complicit partner" with Umno in driving the “Malay/Islamic government” agenda.

The new, and now only real, Umno-led governing coalition is the two-party consortium of Umno and PAS. Bye-bye MCA, MIC, Gerakan!

PAS may still like to masquerade and offer itself as an opposition party, but its only role now on the opposition side of politics is to create discord and conflict.

It is the Umno's "Trojan Horse" on the opposition side of the barricades, within the opposition’s ranks.

Send in the Clowns: PAS vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah, why are your PAS representatives still ‘squatting’ in the Selangor government?

Drifter: PAS was insincere in their negotiations and now they want to slam doors on others. What kind of Islamic party is this? They bring shame to their party.
