The National Professors Council (MPN) has taken over the investigation into the allegation that a Universiti Malaya (UM) lecturer made racist remarks against her students.

"The case has been forwarded to MPN," a spokesperson for UM told Malaysiakini when contacted today.

The investigation is still going on, he said, and there has been no update on the case so far.
