Putrajaya has not decided whether 1MDB's new auditor Parker Randall will re-audit the firm's 2013 and 2014 financial statements which were disavowed by previous auditors Deloitte.

"Any decision the re-audit of 1MDB's financial statements will be made after discussions with the new auditors," said Finance Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

The prime minister said this in a parliamentary written reply to Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua.

Pua had asked whether Parker Randall will audit 1MDB's financial statements for 2013 and 2014 again.
