Parti Amanah Negara has welcomed Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's decree on eliminating corruption in the southern state, said the party's deputy president Salahuddin Ayub.

"His majesty's firm decree which fully supported Johor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission for acting drastically on property bribery, which involved the administration of Khaled Nordin, matched the aspiration of the people to have a state that practises good governance and integrity," he said in a statement.
