An aide to the Selangor Menteri Besar, Muhammad Hilman Idham, has been urged to declare his assets, after rumours emerged of his alleged extraordinary wealth.

Legal adviser to Gabungan NGO-NGO Selangor, Mohd Imran Tambrin said this, quoting social media allegations on the supposedly wealthy lifestyle of the trusted aide to Selangor MB Azmin Ali.

"PKR is an open and transparent party in all matters, especially on financial and (state) fund management.

"As such, in line with party stand and their spirit of transparency, as a special officer to the MB, he should declare his assets as per existing state regulations," he said after lodging a report against Hilman at the Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office in Shah Alam today.
