Problematic members should quit PAS, says Hadi after Husam's departure

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has urged “problematic members” to leave the party.

He wanted to see the Islamic party left with only the members and leaders who do not give problems to PAS.

This was how he responded to axed PAS vice-president Husam Musa, who claimed more PAS members will join Amanah.

Husam had submitted a membership form to join Amanah, the splinter party of PAS, on Wednesday.

“The members are still with PAS. None of them (followed Husam’s footstep and left PAS),” said Hadi, who is also Marang MP and Rhu Rendang state assemblyperson.

“All of them who left PAS were problematic, let them leave then, easy... Get out (of PAS) and join other parties. Leave only those without problems,” he was quoted by Sinar Harian as saying.

He slammed Husam for capitalising on the late spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat’s name by saying more members will be joining PAS.

He also noted that the party does not care nor it will be affected by Husam’s move to join Amanah.

The party has never stopped Husam from joining Amanah as he did this on his own will, he said.

“(Kelantan PAS) is not threatened. Insya-Allah (God willing), growing stronger,” he said after attending an event at Rusila.
