The Federal Court has fixed Oct 10 to hear a reference to a constitutional question on whether Section 4(1) of the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012, relating to the ban on street protests, is legal or otherwise.

The court fixed the date to hear the referral questions from student activist Adam Adli Abdul Halim and Jingga 13 activist Mohd Fariz Musa filed with the Federal Court.
