Some questions for Najib
ADS

LETTER | I hope our ex-PM Najib Abdul Razak is enjoying his forced vacation/ sabbatical under the circumstances.

Although he has been accused of various offences, charges are yet to be laid out and according to Najib, this is because there is no case to answer although by implying there is no solid evidence, one may say there is evidence, just not solid.

At the very least, he has not been arrested and paraded around barefoot as Rafizi was honoured with.

Let’s just assume for now that the Department of Justice (DOJ) case in the US is just an elaborate plan by the CIA and the Zionist to damage Malaysia’s reputation.

Since ex-PM Najib is very adamant that he has not committed any wrongs, perhaps he may take some time to reply to various questions raised by various people at various times but have yet to be responded to. Not answering these questions can be construed as an action by a guilty person, not someone who claims to be innocent.

  • Did Jho Low pull a fast one on you by pretending to help IMDB but then squandered off with billions to party away?

  • If so why has Malaysia not charged Jho Low and requested for his extradition?

  • Why did you stop the joint 1MDB investigation in 2016 and sack the then AG?

  • Why was the auditor general's report on 1MDB classified under the OSA?

  • Why was the PAC disbanded halfway through their inquiry and the then PAC chairperson made a deputy minister?

  • Why was the MACC raided during the height of the joint investigation into 1MDB?

  • Why was Khairuddin Abu Hassan arrested if there was no substance to his accusations? Shouldn’t Khairuddin have just been sued for defamation?

  • Why has no legal action been taken against The Wall Street Journal for reporting that money was stolen from 1MDB?

  • Why has no legal action been taken against Sarawak Report for reporting that money was stolen from 1MDB?

  • If the original IPIC payment was not syphoned off away, then why the order from the arbitration to make the payment, again?

  • What is the value of the so-called cash deposits in Singapore which later turned out to be ‘useless’ units?

  • Why do Arul Kanda and some directors now claim they have no knowledge of the many payments that were made by 1MDB?

  • How come the former Parliament speaker refused to allow any debate or question relating to 1MDB citing sub judice although until today there has been no ongoing court case on 1MDB?

  • How come the audit accounts of 1MDB are so long overdue? If it is due to the police holding the records, then surely it can be arranged for the records to be copied for the auditor’s verification?

Apart from these 1MDB-related questions, there are other general questions that many of us are curious about and hope to get a reply.

  • If the millions confiscated from various houses around KL are indeed donations for Umno for the general election, how come they were not spent?

  • Who are the donors of these donations?

  • Where did your family get the money to purchase so many luxury goods given that your brother had claimed your parents were not rich and they are no records of a massive income for you apart from being menteri besar, minister and prime minister?

  • Where did your wife earn the millions allegedly banked into her accounts?

  • Why did Malaysia draw down almost RM20 billion from the ECRL facility although the project is only 15% completed?

  • Why did Malaysia almost pay in full for the gas pipelines project when work is hardly completed?

  • If ECRL and HSR are as profitable as claimed, how come no private entities have asked to undertake it?

Normally they will be queuing for days to take lucrative projects off governments hands such as the original traffic camera installation contracts or the privatisation of parking collection in Kuala Lumpur.
