LETTER | Yesterday, I accidentally posted a letter by a renowned personality about the need to change in one of my WhatsApp groups that included many public healthcare personnel.

And I was pointedly, blatantly, asked to remove this 'inappropriate' post. I did.

I'm sorry I posted this crucial message that has offended some, maybe many, people who continue to feel that this nation, and especially the civil servants, should be left undeterred in their stodgy blind support of a 'government' that they have sworn to serve without fear or favour... forgetting they are supposed to serve king and country and the rightful rakyat foremost, and not the prevailing politicians...

Sadly we're now so divided, them and us... subservient hangers-on devil-may-care incumbents vs awakened citizens hankering, urging, wanting change for a sense of moral equipoise on a ruling regime that has gone rogue, so shameless, so corrupt,
so dependent on makan dedak, so attuned to patronage and accustomed rent-seeking, so amorally-drowned…, so unashamed, so morally compass-lost… and so blinkered in ignorance by choice...

Now, our failed civil institutions are apeing, echoing incredulous soundbites of propagandist spins, downright lies and dubious egregious actions of their political masters of unrepentant, connivingly arrogant, morally-bankrupt personalities
resorting to blatantly racial gerrymandering, corrupting the spineless EC beyond the pale of any sense of decency, impartiality...

We've now got strait-jacketed elections handicapped right from the word, go! We've shifty, biased, senseless election rules and regulations, politically-driven and directed to cheat, to steal, to win at all costs...

What's at stake is bigger than one or all of us divided... we're poised to suffer at our rakyat's cost humongous social debts, indebtedness awaiting, against our shrinking rights... but they still do not see, will not listen, will not budge from their highbrow perch of the ingrained arrogance of little Napoleonic power status...

I'm not sorry I posted what needs to be said to be exposed! I'm sorry I could still offend people who should have sensed the real pulse, the true sentiments of our rakyat, but who obviously choose not to...

I left the group.

Wake up civil servants, know what is morally right, not what you've been brainwashed to want to believe! Come join in this stupendous tsunami of CHANGE that is sweeping this nation!

Let's make May 10 a glorious new day, a new nation reborn with a greater chance of regaining some moral dignity and national pride! Believe me, around the world everyone knows we have the most blatant, notorious kleptocrats and mother of all corruption (including Myanmar, so previously noted for its own history of oppression!!!)

Return to us the rakyat, the power to decide who rules us, who taxes us, who makes proper laws that govern us, who does not make us feel ashamed when they themselves are shameless...

Return to us those new/renewed leaders who have pledged to right the many institutional wrongs that now plague this beloved nation. Let's make our own history.
