Guan Eng eating his words by changing Taib stand
ADS

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng must have run out of ideas to defame MCA until he had to eat his own words by praising and urging MCA to learn from Sarawak Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud, whom he used to attack and criticise.

In the last Sarawak election, DAP had gone all out to sow the seeds of hatred against Abdul Taib, even resorting to come out with a slogan saying that “If Abdul Taib is not toppled, the people will be left with only with grass to eat”, but since DAP has run out of ideas to attack MCA, Lim has made a U-turn by praising and idolising Abdul Taib.

As chief minister, Lim should review himself first of all because Sarawak has a reserve of RM22 billion; but under Lim’s leadership, Penang’s foreign investment has dropped annually. Lim can only brag about having RM1.2 billion in Penang’s reserve,  but he has never mentioned that RM850 million of the total state reserve was actually contributed by the previous Barisan Nasional government, yet he shamelessly treats it as if it was his own achievement.

Therefore if Lim Guan Eng is not toppled, Penang’s economy can only rely on him defaming people. It does not matter whether Penang’s foreign investment has increased or not; he can always put the blame on the previous government.

If he cannot push away any responsibility, he can always resort to blaming Umno, MCA, as well as the media, just to cover up his incapability, but when it comes to the state’s achievements, he will claim all the credit even it was by the effort of the previous state government.

Thus, Lim should be the one to quit his unprincipled habit and learn from others on how to be a real statesman.
