Important points to remember when voting

I pray to God that Malaysians in Bukit Selambau, Bukit Gantang and Batang Ai in Sarawak will vote tomorrow for a coalition that will uphold the principles below to make Malaysia a better place for everyone to live.

1. A coalition that will be committed to eradicate corruption in the country.

2. A coalition that will uphold Islam as the official religion of the nation, but will give complete freedom for individuals to choose to worship God without any restrictions.

3. A coalition that will respect the institution of the king and the sultans without the intention to use them for their advantage.

4. A coalition that will not be biased in using the media solely for their propaganda and will not restrict freedom of the media thus allowing differing views and critical opinions for smart Malaysians to make the right judgments about any matter.

5. A coalition that will not use the police to arrest citizens who wish to have peaceful gatherings through the so-called requirement of 'police permits.'

6. A coalition that will not discriminate against anyone to receive with all citizens receiving the benefits due to them regardless of theirrace, religion and creed.

7. A coalition that will allow justice for the non-citizens that are in our country.

8. A coalition that will uphold the sanctity of Parliament, the Dewan Rakyat and the state legislative assemblies and their speakers.

9. A coalition that will not use the courts for their own advantage but uphold righteousness and equal justice for all.

10. A coalition that will promote professionalism in the operating of all its sanctioned institutions including the MACC.

11. A coalition that will respect the will of the rakyat by not threatening to withhold development for states controlled by the opposition (be it Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Rakyat) if they control the federal government.

12. A coalition that will be willing to completely eradicate the draconian ISA law.

13. A Ccalition that will promote Malaysia as 'One Family' with the willingness to bring changes like in the US, to accept anyone chosen by the majority of the rakyat to lead the nation.

14. A coalition that will respect democracy in working together with the opposition for the good of the nation and for the glory of God.

On another note, voters need to be careful about voting for independents because they could be bought over by either coalition until the anti-hopping law is in place.
