Recently, the Youth Parliament achieved a remarkable feat by being recognized as the "First Metaverse Parliamentary Debate" by the Malaysia Book of Records. 

Iman Ridzwan, the Producer of the Youth Parliament Debates, said, "We are extremely proud to receive the 'First Metaverse Parliamentary Debate’ award from the Malaysia’s Book of Records. Our aspiration is to organize high-quality events that could cater to all sorts of people and organizations. 

Iman has also mentioned that KiniEvents is renowned for its initiatives involving forums and discussions on technological advancements, providing inspiration for integrating technological innovations into the field of debate. Hence, they are venturing into the world of the metaverse this year. 

This event also highlights the best talents in the field of debate involving youths involved in the previous event episodes. The Youth Parliamentary Debathon have been a pivotal platform since 2019, organized by MalaysiaKini and KiniEvents. They have collaborated with educational institutions, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), and the Parliament of Malaysia to empower more than 200 young leaders to engage in constructive policy discussions, shaping the future.

The concept of the Metaverse stands as a unique approach to captivate the interest of young individuals, encouraging them to actively participate in political discussions. These words stem from the founder of Malaysiakini, Steven Gan, who envisions a future where the youth are not only engaged but also committed to upholding their responsibilities as voters.

According to Steven Gan, the mission is crystal clear: to ensure that elected representatives shoulder their responsibilities and carry out their duties faithfully. The younger generation has a pivotal role to play in shaping our collective future, with the aim of making the world a better place for all.
