Selangor is set to take centre stage in global technology as it welcomes the world’s leading experts in artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors at the Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention (SDEC) 2025, taking place from 8–11 October 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) and Grand Hyatt, Kuala Lumpur.
With the theme “AI x Semiconductor: Blitzscaling Malaysia’s Deep Tech”, SDEC 2025 reflects Selangor’s bold ambition to accelerate Malaysia’s digital economy and establish itself as a regional hub for deep tech innovation. As one of the flagship events under the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2025, SDEC amplifies the state’s global standing by bringing together technology, innovation, and investment under a single platform.

Twin Accelerator Final Demo Day (8 October 2025, KLCC)
Day 1 of SDEC 2025 will spotlight Malaysia’s next generation of innovators. On the opening day, audiences will witness the Final Demo Day for Retail-X and Deep-X participants, the flagship Twin Accelerator Programme run by Sidec. These top startups and SMEs will pitch their solutions to investors, corporate partners, and ecosystem leaders, showcasing Selangor’s commitment to nurturing high-growth enterprises.
Semiconductor Summit (9 October 2025, Grand Hyatt KL)
The Semiconductor Summit will feature world-class leaders such as Jim Keller, CEO of Tenstorrent, CK Tseng, President of Arm ASEAN, VP of North America Sales Prof. Jack Sun, former CTO of TSMC and Senior VP of NYCU, and Robert Li, Vice President of Sales for Synopsys. They will be joined by senior representatives from Intel Foundry, AMD, X-Fab Sarawak, SilTerra Malaysia, Infinecs System, Oppstar, SkyeChip Malaysia, and Tenasic Malaysia, alongside distinguished experts and industry associations driving Southeast Asia’s semiconductor ecosystem.

The Malaysia Semiconductor Recruitment Day (MSRD), the nation’s largest career fair dedicated to engineering talent in the semiconductor sector.
