KPJ Healthcare, Philips & LAC partner to drive digital transformation in 30 hospitals nationwide

KUALA LUMPUR, 26 August 2025 - KPJ Healthcare Berhad (“KPJ Healthcare”) and LAC Medical Supplies Sdn Bhd (“LAC Medical Supplies”), a subsidiary of LAC Med Berhad, has entered into a strategic multi-year partnership to implement an Enterprise Picture Archiving and Communication System (“PACS”) across its nationwide network of 30 hospitals. The signing ceremony, held today at Menara KPJ, marks an important milestone in KPJ Healthcare’s digital transformation under KPJ Health System, with full implementation targeted within 24 months. 

The new enterprise imaging (PACS) solution, from Philips, supplied and implemented by LAC Medical Supplies, will connect KPJ hospitals on a single imaging platform, designed to support secure access. The solution will enable collaboration between clinicians, designed to support diagnostic efficiency, and integration with the KPJ Care patient application, giving patients convenient, secure access to their medical imaging results.

The project is based on an outcome-driven model, aligning technology investment to measurable clinical and operational results while accelerating the adoption of advanced healthcare solutions across KPJ’s hospital network.
