MACC seizes ‘Disneyland’

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) seized Ampang PKR Youth chief Adam Rosly’s bungalow, which has been likened to ‘Disneyland’.

Abdul Latif Bandi resigned from the Johor exco after being slapped with 33 charges of graft over a land scandal.

Parti Amanah Negara deputy president Salahuddin Ayub urged the MACC to expand the investigation to include Johor Menteri Besar Mohamed Khaled Nordin.

PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli questioned if Lembaga Tabung Haji conducted due diligence in acquiring a company which received funds from scandal-plagued SRC International Sdn Bhd.

Finance Minister II Johari Abdul Ghani said the spike in March inflation numbers, at 5.1 percent, was due to higher fuel prices.

Noh Omar defends cut to non-BN constituencies

Urban Well-being, Housing and Local Government Minister Noh Omar defended the allocation cut to non-BN constituencies for small local council projects, stating that the government was prioritising BN areas due to lack of funds.

DAP’s Taiping MP Nga Kor Ming, who is a lawyer, responded with a letter of demand to Noh, demanding that the directive be revoked.
