your say Soi Lek: We've no choice but to hold hands

Tey Khang Fai: Well, MCA and delegates are still sleeping for the last 50 years. Don't they have some pride and dignity to fight and stand up as a Chinese like China? Can America tell China what to do? Their collective age is more than 100 years and still Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak needs to tell them what to do?

Malayamuda:

So what the prime minister thinks supersedes the constitution of the MCA ? Ong Tee Keat should use the MCA constitution as his toilet paper hereafter.

Lim Chong Leong: The delegates should resign! Looks like all your efforts have come to nothing and your vote means nothing.

I thought that MCA wanted to resolve their crisis internally and that Umno had refrained from intervening. Now Najib suddenly brokered this deal? This shows MCA is spineless and under Umno's thumb. Looks like there will be constant suspicion against each other and one will never know your friend from foe.

Tan Hoe Een:

Yes,under the present circumstances, the prime minister's proposal is the best option. Between Ong Tee Keat and Chua Soi Lek, they have a whopping 90 percent support of the delegates and no other formula can command this huge number.

If both are sincere in their respective desire to work for all Malaysians in the positions they stood, won and accepted, then no matter how hard it is, they must work together.

Marge: This proves beyond a shadow of doubt that MCA is under the control of Umno. Spineless creatures.

Presidential council members, please resign. Disciplinary committee members, please resign. When you have no say in your own party matters, why stay on?

Azmin a Liability: MCA delegates have passed a vote on no confidence against Ong. He has to go. Period! Anything less would be tantamount to breaching the MCA Constitution - the supreme authority of the Party.

If Ong Tee Kiat stays - how sure are we that he would not violate the oath of secrecy as a cabinet minister? How sure can we be that he would abide by the laws of the country under his ministry? How can we be sure that he would not be a compulsive liar as a minister - he promised to resign should the no-confidence motion be passed. How can the Malaysian public trust him ever again?

Tan Teng Wah: It is UMNO who will ultimately determine the fate of MCA leaders, regardless how many EGMs are held. The biggest sucker is, of course, the MCA members and mind you, there will be certainly a third episode. MCA - a spineless creature.

Thuraisingham: The delegates have spoken both of them have to go. No second thoughts. The supreme authority has been usurped.

Rayfire:

All three shameless and self serving, what is the point then of having the EGM earlier and appointing Liow as the new vice president and so on. Please have some dignity and resign en bloc!

This includes the proposer of the so-called peace plan. Stop taking the members and people of Malaysia for fools. If Najib fully believes in the 1Malaysia concept, why not dissolve all BN individual parties and form a single party called 1Malaysia? Why keep using race as criteria for party issues?
